Beijing/Karachi, August 18 (FFN) – Chinese electric vehicle giant BYD has announced plans to build a new automobile manufacturing plant in Karachi as part of its strategic entry into the Pakistani market. This initiative responds to the growing demand for new energy vehicles (NEV) in the region.
In collaboration with local partner Mega Motors, a subsidiary of Hub Power Co (Hubco), Pakistan’s largest private company, BYD will begin selling three models of its vehicles in the fourth quarter of 2024. These models will include two SUVs and a sedan.
