Brussels, October 14 (FinanceFlashNews.com) – Gazprom, Russia’s gas producer, announced on Monday that it will continue to deliver 42.3 million cubic meters (m³) of gas to Europe through the pipeline that passes via Ukraine. This is the same volume as sent on Sunday, October 13. This report is based on Reuters.
Stable Supply and High European Gas Storage Levels
Data from Gas Infrastructure Europe revealed that European underground gas storage facilities were at 95% capacity as of Sunday. Additionally, liquefied natural gas (LNG) deliveries to Europe’s gas transmission system accounted for 54.7% of total supply.
These stable gas flows through Ukraine remain a critical energy source for Europe, especially with increasing winter demand and ongoing geopolitical challenges surrounding energy supplies.
